I've always wondered why anyone would park their domains elsewhere.
I've even tried parking a few myself, just to test the market, and I've never received a dime of income.
At least the folks at SmartName, who have heidela.com, got it listed on search engines above the fold.

Apart from sarcasm I must agree, the number 1 reason is laziness... and I can tell that there was a time when I was even too "lazy" to park!
Better saying, my time was much more precious doing other things... that brought much more money than parking revenue...

I like to see that 18.00 click the first day then it goes to .30 after that. It has happen on three different domains over the years. You should hear the answers I get for that from a parking company.

I'm learning that there is more money to be made by blogging about domaining than actually domaining itself. It's kind of like the savvy Jewish folks who sold pick axes, pans, and Levi Strauss denim pants to gold hunting enthusiasts during the California Gold Rush -- as suppliers of implements, they made more money than the gold hunters ever did!

When you see the stats on a parked domain go from $200 on one month to 5 cents on the next month, you know someone is throwing a party with your money.... but at least we get the free pens and t-shirts... gotta love those, they keep us happier than cash..
